    Sally- Executive Director

    Sally has worked in the dental field for over 20 years gaining experience in all areas of dental practice.  This gives her a unique perspective and range of experience when it comes to assisting patients and keeping our practice running smoothly.  She passionately believes in our mission: “To enhance oral health through education and access to care for all individuals and families”.

    Sally recognizes the vital importance of oral health in relation to whole-body health, and her goal is to help patients enjoy the best overall health possible. At Community Dental Care she aims to provide the highest quality of patient care in a compassionate environment that provides exceptional service and education in a friendly, efficient and educational environment while helping as many people in the community as possible.

    Sally attended Champlain College studying early childhood psychology.  In her free time when Sally is not helping patients she enjoys spending her time with family, husband Rick, and engaging in multiple creative adventures with her daughter Ella.

  • Meggan Wehmeyer, DDS, MS, IBCLC- Periodontist, Dental Director

    Dr. Wehmeyer joined CDCC in January 2016. She grew up in Colorado and earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina in 2003. She earned her doctor of dental surgery (DDS) from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2007 and she completed her Masters in Periodontology with a certificate in clinical and translational research from the University of North Carolina in 2010. She passed the board certification process of the American Board of Periodontology in 2011.

    Dr. Wehmeyer served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston and at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. She is a former International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and La Leche League Leader.

    Dr. Wehmeyer has a special interest in tongue and lip ties and has been working with families and babies with these concerns since 2012. She has completed specialized training in the use of LASERs from the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) as well as specialized training in infant frenectomies and in breastfeeding support for tongue and lip-tied babies.

    In her free time, she operates a small handcrafted bath and body product business that features ingredients from local women farmers called “Farmer’s Body”.

  • Khushbu Patel, DDS - General Dentist

    Dr. Khushbu C. Patel is a compassionate and skilled general dentist committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages—from young children to seniors. She provides comprehensive dental services with a gentle, personalized approach tailored to each patient’s needs.

    Dr. Patel began her dental journey in India, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and practiced as a general dentist. After moving to the United States, she pursued advanced dental education and successfully earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her educational path has given her a broad foundation in both international and U.S.-based clinical practice.

    Dr. Patel is passionate about restoring smiles and improving function, always focusing on long-term outcomes and patient comfort. She also has a strong commitment to preventive care and believes that education is key to maintaining lifelong oral health. A continuous learner, Dr. Patel actively keeps up to date with the latest dental technologies and treatment techniques to ensure her patients receive modern, evidence-based care.

    To remain at the forefront of her field, Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), New Hampshire Dental Society, and other local and national dental organizations. Through these affiliations, she continually advances her clinical knowledge and skills.

    Dr. Patel values integrity, empathy, and respect—principles that guide her approach to care and help build long-term, trusting relationships with her patients.

    Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her young son. She also loves cooking, practicing yoga, and exploring new places.


  • Amrita Tembhe, DDS, MPH – General Dentist

    Dr.Tembhe is a skilled and compassionate general dentist with international training and U.S.-based dental residency experience. After completing her dental education abroad, she pursued advanced clinical training through accredited residency programs in the United States, equipping her with the knowledge and expertise to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

    Her clinical interests span preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, with a strong focus on patient comfort, clear communication, and personalized treatment planning. Dr. Tembhe is committed to lifelong learning and regularly engages in continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dental materials and technology.

    She is passionate about creating a positive dental experience for every patient and believes in building long-term relationships through trust, empathy, and attention to detail.

    Outside the office, Dr. Tembhe enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, and exploring national parks. These hobbies reflect her appreciation for balance, wellness, and the beauty of nature—values she brings into her approach to dentistry and patient care.

  • Cindy- Hygienist, Oral Myofunctional Therapist

    Cindy began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant and then received her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Tunxis Community College. She then received a Bachelor of Science from the American College of Holistic Nutrition with a minor in Herbology. She is Laser Certified and is Local Anesthesia Endorsed. She earned a Certified Public Health Dental Hygienist from the New Hampshire Technical Institute and is a current member of the Region 1 DMORT (Disaster Mortuary Response Team) and has studied forensic dental identification at the Armed Institute of Pathology in Bethesda, MD. She is currently working with myofunctional therapy with a special interest in tongue tie.

    Cindy and her husband enjoy skiing, hiking, fly fishing, and numerous outdoor activities.

  • Brenda- Hygienist

    Brenda has worked in the field of dentistry for over 35 years and has experience in general dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics and endodontics. She began her career as a certified dental assistant in Princeton, KY. After serving as a Dental Assistant for 22 years she returned to school and received her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene in Bluebell, PA. Additionally, she received her license in administering local anesthesia in Maryland and New Hampshire. Brenda moved to New Hampshire in January 2021 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She currently lives in Lempster, NH in her dream home and enjoys being outdoors, hiking, working in her garden, working out, and spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her boyfriend.

  • Alanna- Dental Assistant

    Alanna began her path in Dentistry in 2018 where she was able to learn both clinical and administrative positions. She joined us at Community Dental Care of Claremont in 2020 where she now assists in both restorative and hygiene procedures. You may have heard her on the phone or seen her at our front desk too because she loves reaching out to patients. In fact, her favorite part of dentistry is meeting new people, hearing their stories and helping them achieve their dental goals. She hopes to continue her education at NHTI and eventually become a Dental Hygienist. In her free time, you can find her with her boyfriend, hiking mountains or going to see her favorite bands.

  • Terri- Dental Assistant

    Terri has been in the dental field over 15 years. She enjoys working with patients making them comfortable and at ease while getting necessary work done. She loves camping with friends and family, going to concerts, but most of all spending time with her 2 daughters. You’ll always catch her at the field or gym cheering them on. They have two cats Bruin and Sophie.

  • Sandy- Dental Assistant

    Sandy has been working as a dental assistant since 2003. With over 20 years of experience, she’s had the opportunity to grow her skills while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dental visits. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and supporting both patients and the dental team to ensure the best experience possible.

    When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing, and making the most of each day. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is building connections with patients and seeing the positive impact a healthy smile can bring.

    Alexis (Lexi) is currently a dental assistant in training with a strong passion for oral health and patient care. She’s currently pursuing her education and hands-on training to become a certified dental assistant. She’s dedicated to creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient, and she’s excited to grow within the dental field by combining technical knowledge with compassionate care. Her goal is to support both patients and dental professionals in maintaining healthy, confident smiles. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time outdoors- whether it's fishing or riding quads on the trails. At home she likes to spend time with her two cats, Cheez-it and Smokey, who always keep her on her toes.

  • Jacob- Sterilization Technician

    Jacob Vertigans is 22 years old, born and raised in NH, And has our sterilization technician for the office since June 2024. He is friendly and kind to patients and coworkers alike and won't hesitate to lend a helping hand when needed. While he usually deals with hygiene rooms and instrument sterilization, you can find him doing all sorts of tasks around the office. Think of him as our human Swiss Army knife -minus the corkscrew, because Sally said no.

  • Selena- Insurance Coordinator

    Selena has worked at Community Dental Care since she started volunteering here when she was in high school. She is now our office coordinator and enjoys helping patients understand their insurance and answer any questions they might have. In Selena’s free time she likes to go watch her fiancé at the racetrack and enjoys summer days on her boat. She also loves spending time with her two dogs Bruno and Ella.

  • Linda- Patient Care Coordinator

    Linda has been in the Dental field for 28 years with experience in Pediatrics and General Dentistry as well as in the Hospital setting dentistry. She has her Nitrous Monitoring Certification. She has been married for 28 years with one son. She enjoys boating, kayaking, corn hole, making homemade cards, and bowling but mostly spending time with family and friends.

  • Emily- Hygiene Coordinator

    Emily began her path in dentistry in 2022 as a Dental Assistant but has since transitioned into the role of our office Hygiene Coordinator. Emily’s favorite part of dentistry is helping patients feel comfortable and achieve good oral health. You may recognize her from her years of waitressing at a local restaurant! Emily enjoys meeting new people, attending concerts and going to the beach. Emily has three sons that keep her and her husband very busy. When not at Community Dental Care, you can find her coaching the SHS Varsity Cheerleading Team. Emily also enjoys sports of all kinds as well as reading and being outside.

  • Tonya - Treatment Coordinator

    After years of dental issues and anxiety, Tonya finally found a dental team that was understanding and empathetic to her worries. She had been a patient here for several years before deciding to join the team in 2025. She looks forward to helping other people find comfort in dental care and to help to change their lives. She grew up in Sullivan county and loves to spend time outside doing things with her family such as swimming, kayaking and hiking with her dog. She and her fiancé like to go to concerts when they have kid-free nights. Tonya is Looking forward to helping the community one smile at a time!
